Come on in and create with us! Nothing feels quite like creating your own masterpiece.
Children under 13 must have an adult present. Glass for our Lil' Artists is tumbled and dulled for their safety!
A great new experience for your next girls night out, birthday party, and more!
I am a Lake Charles native who graduated from St. Louis Catholic High School and McNeese State University.
I have 4 amazing children and 8 beautiful grandchildren who all live and work in our community. They are my world!
I have always loved Art. I believe Art is not just a form of expression, but a language.
When I am not creating, I enjoy cooking, traveling, and making memories with my family.
My friend, Christy Ballock (artist extraordinaire), and I recently discovered that we shared the same vision.
An Interactive Art Studio that introduces a new kind of fun. Together we are so excited to open Lil’ Art House, LLC right here in our hometown of Lake Charles!
Hi! I’m Christy Blalock. Raised in “The Bluff”. I got my art degree from McNeese and my Masters of Counseling from Lamar in Beaumont.
My daughter Morgan lives here with her husband . She is my best friend and is always ready for our next project. She is used to art projects because she has watched me work on commissioned art her whole life.
Art is my passion and my life. After teaching Art for 16 years in Calcasieu Parish, I knew my calling - I am a TEACHER! I am also an Ovarian Cancer survivor. I came close to losing my life, and since then, I embrace everything differently. I look at life through colored glasses of appreciation and love.
I am working on the goal of meaningful, intentional and real interactions, teaching people the beauty of expression through creative mediums. Opening Lil’ Art House is my dream.
Come on in Lake Charles! Let me teach you something you’ve never done before, but always wanted to try!
